''It?s a tangy pinot noir but the mouthfeel is silken and the fruit ? even with the low alcohol ? is ripe and substantial-enough. Red cherry, cranberry, a touch of plum, a veneer of smoky/cedary oak. Spice notes are not in short supply. Stems splashed with pepper. It all works well. '' 92 Points, Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front
''An impressive Pinot, which will soar higher if given time. Foresty whole-bunch nuances with fresh nut, spice and almond meal notes leading to a full-bodied palate with high extract; its lush fruit balanced by lavish tannins. The length is prodigious.'' 97 Point, Gourmet Traveller
On the nose blackcurrant/ cassis and herbal notes intertwined with delicate whiffs of char (from the oak barrels). On the palate blackcurrant and blackberry over powdery tannins, spice and tar. This wine has great length and structure where the fruit more than matches the fine tannin structure.
