It's undergone traditional barrel fermentation and has been matured on lees for ten months. The wine is aromatically complex with notes of oatmeal, nectarine and white peach. The palate is intensely citrus with a fine textured structure that provides a great length

This vineyard is coming to maturity and the Chardonnay is getting better and better. This one is a beaut while the price is still very reasonable.

Chardonnay from Beechworth is generally good and this is outstanding for the price. Citrus fruit forward then a hint of sweetness but never cloying. Enjoyable mouthfeel with a long, lingering finish. Excellent now and should improve over time.
There seem to be two camps when it comes to chardonnay and i have to say i'm firmly in this camp. More southern Burgundy - think Pouilly Fuissé, than Chablis, it's remarkably good value
