Deep, dark purple hue. Aromas of ripe blackberry and blueberry are mixed with liquorice and a hint of pepper. A rich palate of juicy berries, liquorice, pepper and smoked-vanilla cedar seals the deal.
AustraliaI was introduced to this wine about 7 years ago. I think it’s a terrific representation of Heathcote region. Lovely fruits and a cherry plum flavours. Nice feel on the palate and fine tannins. Great to drink now and cellar.
