Cherry, orange peel, dried roses, pimento and spice, a light smoky and earthy thing here, and such fragrance. It’s tight and bony, a fine pumice stone character to tannin, distinct ‘mineral’ feel, and while it’s light and cranberried, it also has depth and presence. Also has a high quality tea perfume to it, and a crisp finish featuring venison and juniper berry tang. Such energy and character. It’s a superb expression of Pinot Noir. Luminous. Outstanding.
