This is the new vintage of last year's Best Wine from the McLaren Vale Wine Show - it has won the Top Gold Medal at the 2024 Royal Adelaide Wine Show, and the Gold Medal with 95 points at the Melbourne Royal Wine Awards.
Red berries, aromatic floral nose, Turkish delight and hints of red licorice mix with earthy leathery spice and background pepper. The palate is medium weighted showing a mix of fresh berry fruits- raspberry, mulberry and pomegranate, along with warm spice and dried herbs. The wine has a vibrant acidity and a lovely line of fine minerally tannin. This wine drinks well young, but will cellar for 5-7 years
