Established in 1970, Warramate is a historic, dry-grown vineyard adjoining Yarra Yering in the heart of the Yarra Valley. Made by Yarra Yering winemaker Sarah Crowe, the 2025 Pinot Noir combines MV6 and Pommard clones grown on silty clay loam. It was fermented with 50% whole bunches and matured with just 10% new oak, keeping the emphasis firmly on fruit and freshness.
Bright and highly perfumed, it offers violets, vibrant cherry fruit and a subtle Campari-like lift, with spice, fine stalk tannins and a silky, medium-bodied palate. Awarded 95 points by Halliday Wine Companion, which described it as “medium bodied, juicy fruited and quite delicious straight out of the gate.”
