Fruit for the 2022 Riesling is a sub-regional blend from the vineyards of our dedicated growers; the Koerner, Castine and Stanway families, as well as that from new Vickery growers, the Sandow and Bryksy families. The 2022 growing season was moderate, with low summer rainfall very mild temperatures. Some decent rainfall earlier on ensured strong vine health and idyllic canopies. These conditions allowed the fruit to hand a little longer on the vine, as is the Vickery way, without climatic or disease pressure, but facilitating full varietal expression.
