Based near Denmark, Singlefile Wines, a family owned winery, was co-founded by Phil & Viv Snowden and Patrick & Pam Corbett in 2007. T hey built a headstart for themselves, so to speak, with the purchase of the Scottsdale Valley Estate, itself planted 21 years earlier in 1986.
Singlefile Wines was the inaugural winner of James Halliday’s Dark Horse Winery of the Year and their flagship ‘The Vivienne’ Chardonnay was recognized as Australia’s Top Chardonnay in James Halliday’s 2019 Australian Wine Companion.
In the past three years 31 of Singlefile’s wines have scored 95 points or above, and 32 wines have been highlighted for their value for money. Singlefile Wines was also selected as a Top 100 winery in the world in the 2015 Wine & Spirits magazine (USA) and has been acknowledged as one of the Great Southern’s top cellar doors by Gourmet Traveller Wine Magazine. In 2018, for the third time since 2015, Singlefile has been awarded ‘Best Tasting Experience’, and was awarded the ‘Star’ Cellar Door in 2013, 2014 and 2016.
