Made by Rob Hall, who worked at Mount Mary for a decade. You can be certain that some of that Mount Mary magic has rubbed off on Rob while making this wine.
This is special. First let's start with the winemaker - Rob Hall - while this may be a new name for you, Rob is certainly no strange in the wine world. Rob cut his teeth at Mount Mary, perhaps the most famous Yarra Valley producer and he worked there for 10 years as assistant winemaker.
"96 Points. Cabernet sauvignon with a tiny amount of malbec. Aromas of dark cherries, blackberries, crushed violets and just a soupçon of cedar. Medium bodied, this is both creamily textured and structured with ripe, fine-grained tannins ensuring that, as approachable as this is now, it will age well, too.
