Winemaker Paul Pujol refined his trade working in France’s classical wine regions, the Languedoc, Sancerre and, crucially, Burgundy and Alsace. His traditional aesthetic — respectful, patient, vineyard-focused — resonates in our wines, and frees them to express the unique tenor of the vineyards.
An elegant, aromatic Pinot Gris with dense fruit aromas, amazing texture and a dry finish. Wine maker Paul Pujol projects his own flair onto traditional production methods acquired during his time in Alsace. This wine has achieved an avid following and international acclaim, despite its limited production.
We were served this wine at Marramarra Resort as part of a degustation menu with matching wines. All four of us thought it was outstanding and one of the highlights of the meal. It has wonderful fruit and a long finish, nothing lightweight about this Pinot Gris. I came home and searched for, and bought, a case of it. We are enjoying every bottle!
Introduced to this wine at Marramarra Resort, where it’s one of their premium wines. One of the loveliest Pinot gris I have ever tasted. A golden colour, and wonderful balance of fruit and depth. Rare for Pinot gris, it is full-bodied with a long finish, not one of the more common lighter, crisper styles. I ordered a case when I returned home.
