Pooley's icon chardonnay, the Elizabeth Anne, is again in fine form in the '23 vintage. Unctuous white peach, nectarine, lemon and grapefruit fruit tones along with daubs of grilled cashews, spiced oatmeal, dried meadow flowers, nougat, almond meal, crushed shells, whey, hazelnut cream and a wisp of struck flint further back.
