Pizzini Pietra Rossa Sangiovese 2022

Pietra Rossa is Italian for red stone in reference to the soils the fruit for this wine comes from. Vibrant and mouth-watering aromas of cherries, raspberries and sweet herbs follow through onto the beautifully structured palate. It is juicy, fleshy and very drinkable.

"Medium-deep red with a trace of purple lingering in the rim, and a bouquet of subtle forest-floor, rose-petals and autumn leaves. The wine is medium bodied and fruit driven with delicious red fruit and herb flavours, concluded with fine and drying tannins. There’s a very appealing mix of fruit and herbs—both dried and fresh—in the aromas and flavours together with red and blue fruits, including raspberry.
