Medhurst is the Yarra Valley estate established by Ross and Robyn Wilson, with vineyards in Gruyere. Its 2026 Estate Rosé blends Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz selected from dedicated vineyard parcels. Hand-picked fruit is chilled overnight before whole-bunch pressing, with fermentation predominantly in stainless steel and a small portion in seasoned French oak to build texture.
Wild strawberry, jasmine and tangerine aromas lead into redcurrant, pink grapefruit and blood orange flavours, with a subtle herbal edge. There’s gentle creaminess and satisfying fruit weight through the palate, balanced by a fine, chalky mineral character and a delicate, dry finish.
