What a very drinkable, very quaffable, very inexpensive pinot noir this is! The Marnong Estate Sunbury Pinot Noir is a surprise packet.
It’s a pinot noir that tastes and smells very much like a pinot noir, but one you'd never pick as just $23.99 in a blind tasting.
Marnong is reasonably new winery located in the cool climate of Sunbury, which is the region Craiglee calls home and next door to the famous Macedon region. I'll go further and say I don't think there is a cheaper Pinot Noir from those parts of the world available on the market today and there certainly isn't one that's better at $23.99.
