More Information

The Follett family have been grape growers in Langhorne Creek for 130 years, winemakers for over 30 years and have rapidly built an enviable reputation for consistently producing outstanding wines. Lake Breeze selects only the best 40% of fruit from the older vines on the property to create wines with amazing depth of flavour.

All wines produced by Lake Breeze, including the Bullant label, are vegan and vegetarian friendly. At Lake Breeze a minimal intervention approach is taken with all of the wines, with most receiving no filtration or fining at all. With the small amount of fining undertaken, they have a commitment to avoid using any animal-based fining agents.

"95 points"
"This the Lake Breeze signature wine, produced from the best rows of the estate vineyard. Deep crimson-purple; it is challenging in the best possible way by its complexity, balanced with juicy black fruits, licorice and spice on the mid-palate,
then moving decisively to bright acidity and bitter chocolate on the textured finish."
James Halliday, Halliday Wine Companion '20

"Concentration and quality well beyond the humble price point."
"Dark cherry in hue. Cedary oak is currently firm and forceful ahead of black plum and
dark cherry aromas. There's lovely intensity to the palate - raspberry liqueur and mulberries. Oak returns, along with skin tannins, to taper and drive the finish. Concentration and quality well beyond the humble price point." Nick Butler, The Real Review, March '20
