Lake Breeze is one of Langhorne Creek’s best-known family wineries, with the Follett family’s history in the region stretching back to the late 1800s. Their 2024 Old Vine Grenache comes from an exceptional block planted in 1932, with the fruit hand-picked, fermented in a small open fermenter and then matured for eight months in two-year-old French barriques.
Rich but beautifully expressive, it brings together raspberry fruit with anise, spice and earthy notes, backed by the softness and generosity you’d expect from mature Grenache vines. It received 95 points and Special Value Wine from Jane Faulkner in Halliday Wine Companion, who described it simply as “an absolute bargain.” It also won Gold at the 2025 Langhorne Creek Wine Show.
