G.D. Vajra is one of Piedmont's most respected family-run estates, based in the hills above Barolo. Their Langhe Nebbiolo offers a wonderfully approachable expression of this noble grape, combining the perfume and finesse of traditional Nebbiolo with vibrant, youthful fruit. Sourced from elevated vineyards between 280 and 550 metres, the 2025 vintage was gently fermented before spending approximately four months in stainless steel to preserve its freshness and purity.
Bright and beautifully aromatic, the 2025 opens with wild strawberries, red cherries and raspberries, complemented by delicate floral notes and a hint of spice. The palate is juicy and energetic, with finely defined tannins, refreshing acidity and a long, fragrant finish. An elegant, expressive Nebbiolo that offers a lovely introduction to the wines of Piedmont.
