Domaines Schlumberger Les Princes Abbes Alsace Riesling 2023

Domaines Schlumberger has been producing wine in Guebwiller since 1810 and today farms 140 hectares of estate vineyards, half of them classified Grand Cru. The 2023 Les Princes Abbés Riesling comes from Bollenberg and parcels within Saering, Kessler and younger Kitterlé vineyards. It was slowly pressed, fermented in temperature-controlled tuns and matured on lees for six to eight months.

Dry, pure and beautifully focused, it combines lemon and lime with bay leaf, lime blossom and tangerine, finishing bright with refreshing acidity and a gentle bitter-citrus edge. Awarded 90 points by Aleks Zecevic for Wine Enthusiast, who described it as “fresh and zesty, with crisp apple and lime at the forefront.”
