Curly Flat Pinot Gris 2025

Curly Flat is one of the Macedon Ranges’ standout producers, making beautifully detailed wines from their cool, high-altitude vineyard at Lancefield. Pinot Gris is only a small part of the estate, but they give it the same serious treatment as their better-known Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, resulting in a wine with plenty of freshness, texture and character.

The 2025 is a lovely example of the style bright and energetic, with ripe pear and citrus fruit, a savoury edge and a gently textured palate. There’s good weight without heaviness, finishing fresh and clean with that cool-climate lift Curly Flat does so well. A Pinot Gris with a little more depth and interest than the norm, but still very easy to drink.
