"A tight and lean pinot noir, yet manages to deliver good DNA of the variety. A touch of sweetness to fruit, sweet spice, too, some woody inflection, a lick of green herbs and truffle. Tannins are chalky and tense, keeping the wine in check. It feels quite easy to drink, but also like some of the components of the wine don't quite gel right now, that tannin sits outside fruit, and acidity is a bit peaky. Give it some time, as pleasure is here, and will come in spades with short maturity." Mike Bennie
