"From the Moppa sub-region, this release might possibly top the spectacular 2022, it is a cracker. From a single vineyard, planted in 1940, this is classic Barossa. Dark magenta in colour, this is a balanced style of Shiraz. The nose gives us a swirling array of aromas, with mocha, coffee beans, cassis, black fruits and chocolate. Barossa to the bone with a gorgeous plushness, the wine is balanced, generous and offers good extraction. A very long finish, with silky tannins. Enjoy for at least ten to twelve years. A cracking Shiraz. Drink 2024-2036. 96 points" Ken Gargett.  WinePilot.com

"Review number 600 for the year so let's make it worth celebrating. I present another brilliant Shiraz from Barossa producer Arila Gardens. This Ironstone and Quartz Garden 2022 is in the zone. From a single vineyard planted in 1940, winemaker Adam Clay has some serious material to work with. This Shiraz is dense and goes deep. It is a sheer delight to drink with its gloss and sheen. Coupled with its silky feels and elongated and super fine finish, it is absolutely glorious. Sip this and you get the sense that you are floating on a cloud.Dark berries and plums consume you. Swirl the glass some more and mulberries rise up. Fine caramel, and dark chocolate manoeuvre their way about with ease. Some meatiness in the form of pan juices and a puff of earthiness come late before fine sheets of Christmas cake and baking spices drape themselves across the palate and stay the course on a sustained finish. Super classy. Just brilliant drinking. Bravo.   Drink to ten years+ 96 Points." Steve Leszczynski. QWineReviews.com
