More Information

'A more concentrated style of flavour, but it still retains the beautiful shape that stamps this Reserve. Perfumed with florals, spice and autumnal charm. Expect sweet red cherries, dabbed with basil and cooling menthol. While toasty bourbon oak flavouring is in the mix, it's mere seasoning. Tannins are plush, velvety and there's a gloss and a suppleness to the full-bodied palate."  Rating: 95 points.  Jane Faulkner.   Halliday Wine Companion.

"Medium depth ruby colour with a tinge of purple and the wine's bouquet is reserved and discreet, but nicely balanced and evokes smoky charcuterie, dried flowers and dried fruits, subtly complex and savoury, while the palate is medium-bodied and intense, finely textured and long, with good line and powdery tannins giving a cleansing dryness to the finish.'  Ranked #15 of 92 2019 Pinot Noir from Yarra Valley.  Huon Hooke.   The Real Review.

"Attractive nose redolent of redcurrant, cherry and plums. The palate is lovely, smooth and elegant, but also textured. This is a result of the well integrated acid and tannins. The wine will age well in the medium term, say 6-8 years. Good solid wine."  Clive Hartley.  Australian Wine Guide.
