More Information

From vines planted by Gerald Ellis in 1987 the 2020 Pinot was drawn from three separate picks, two weeks apart; "early for vivacity and late for texture," explains Dredge.
It's the first Pinot Noir since 2018 and the finest release under Dredge's tenure at Meadowbank. It bursts out of the glass with lacy red fruits kissed by thyme, sage and violets. Equally vibrant on the palate, the multi-layered and superfine texture deals in gorgeous and high-toned raspberry coulis and spice. There's terrific depth throughout, yet the delivery is one of buoyancy, aromatic, sinewy flesh and subtle, Burgundian-leaning charisma. Don't miss.
