The Australian Sparkling Wine Show is the only show dedicated Sparkling in Australia. This year there were 152 entries and Pirie Sparkling Non-Vintage won three big trophies including Best Wine of Show and Best Mature Wine of Show.

AustraliaI used to spend a small fortune on mass market champagne, Bolli NV, Lois Roederer and Billecart Salmon. This Pirie is the best traditional method I’ve tried; light and fruity on the nose with a good clear crisp start and not too much floralness at the end. If you’re a Billi fan this is a great alternative for those not so special occasions.
