True to Sangiovese’s form, it opens with dry, sandy tannins—memorable in texture—swiftly followed by a surge of vibrant acidity. You’ll find yourself second-guessing the age of the vines, with juice this promising. Equally suited to a lightly chilled picnic pour or served in a large crystal glass alongside slices of salumi in a fine wine bar.
