Craggy Range Kidnappers Vineyard Chardonnay 2022

Gentle Chardonnay that delivers good flavour without the complication of overt oak characters. The cool yet sunny environment of the Te Awanga Vineyard near Cape Kidnappers allows the development of intense Chardonnay flavours in the grapes, captured using traditional winemaking techniques seen in the Chablis region of France.

"Richness of fruit is there, white peach and melon, white flowers, but with a coolness and calm composure. Oak is barely there, and there’s a lovely almond flavour and texture, a little green olive, tight acidity, perhaps some ripe lemon in the mix too.
