Vinea Marson Grazia 2019

"The Grazia is always one of my favourite Vinea Marson wines, so it was immensely comforting to find that the 2019, to me, is the best yet" Brendan Black, The Wine Pilot

More Information

"Light-medium depth yellow colour with a rich, complex, intriguing bouquet that has some of the spiciness of gewürztraminer but is more than that, with layers of fruit flavours, dry and savoury and appetising. A hint of passionfruit. Subtle use of barrels suspected. It's full bodied, rich and satisfying: an exemplary blended dry white."  95 Points.  Huon Hooke

@The Grazia is always one of my favourite Vinea Marson wines, so it was immensely comforting to find that the 2019, to me, is the best yet. After several years in bottle, it’s developing some beautiful aged characters, such as honey and nougat, while still throwing at you lots of grapefruit, orange blossom, cucumber, lanolin and hay, with a phenolic kick, sinewy body and velvety mouthfeel that make imbibing it a pleasure. It goes exceptionally well with food, bringing out a briny, salivating quality. Scrummy."  Brendan Black, The Wine Pilot

"This is a mix of Pinot Bianco, Friulano, Malvasia and Picolit. Excellent intensity of flavour. Lovely texture too. Honeysuckle, stone fruit, bacon fat and dried herb notes come cut through with lime-driven citrus. It’s a treat of a wine."  Campbell Mattinson.

"Owner-winemaker Mario Marson spent many years as the winemaker/viticulturist with the late Dr John Middleton at the celebrated Mount Mary. Mario has over 35 years of experience in Australia and overseas, having undertaken vintages at Isole e Olena in Tuscany and Piedmont and at Domaine de la Pousse d'Or in Burgundy." James Halliday
