"Cool site, same vineyard as the excellent Riesling.  Green melon, citrus, a slight fino/brine top note, lime rind, aniseed, almond, and an almost mescal spiciness (though subtle). It’s savoury but tight too, has some weight and plenty of complexity, powdery grip to texture, and a mealy and bright finish of excellent length. Such an engaging wine.
