"From a well-known and trusted producer, J. Moreau & Fils, Glorie De Chablis 2022 is a mouth-watering Chardonnay with grapes sourced from vines growing in Kimmeridgean soils from the Upper Jurassic epoch, around 150 million years ago. Sub-soils are of gray marl streaked with limestone and fossils of Exogyra virgula, a small comma-shaped oyster. Fresh with aromas of bright green apple, pear, soft citrus and pineapple flavours with fine herbs, lemon-lime zest and briny mineral flavours fresh and finessed on the palate. Very nicely done! This wine saw elevage in stainless steel tank and rested on its lees for eight months giving the wine more structure, freshness and a creamy rounded feel on the palate." Natalie MacLean
