"This release is out of the box. It’s balanced, svelte, lengthy and woven with the most intricate of tannin. It tastes of graphite and blackcurrant, gum leaf and leather, licorice and mint. It’s firm., it’s juicy and it’s delicious. It also feel fresh. It will age beautifully. This is a top release from Bleasdale. Rated : 95 Points" Campbell Mattinson. The Wine Front.
"This is a blend of 68/17/8/6/1% cabernet sauvignon/malbec/petit verdot/merlot. Bright crimson-purple hue heralds a very complex wine that has no need of time thanks to its balance, texture and length. It is an outstanding achievement and offers equally exceptional value for money. Top gold at Royal Adelaide Wine Show '22, gold at Perth Royal Wine Show Awards '22." Rating: 97 Points. James Halliday.
Lovely red berry and darker fruit aromas, notably blackcurrant, plum and lifted violets with a touch of black olives. These characters continue onto the palate supported by layers of nutmeg, cinnamon and spice oak flavours, with a hint of vanilla. Balanced, finely structured and perfumed, this wine shows considerable length and structure & will benefit from cellaring for 10 to 20 years.
