Yal Yal Estate is a picturesque vineyard located at Merricks on the Mornington Peninsula in southern Victoria. Established in
1997 planted to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Low yields aid to reflect the unique terroir of this site. Working with renowned
winemaker Rollo Crittenden, Liz and Simon Gillies launched the Yal Yal Rd label in 2010. All the grapes are hand-picked and
fermented using natural yeasts. Aging is all in French oak barrels, the Chardonnay also being barrel fermented.
