This is a well flavoured Chardonnay with a beautifully fine structure. The lovely stone fruit flavours are enhanced by the cashew nut characters, all very well integrated after nearly 7 months on lees. Having all gone through malo, it already has that extra layer of complexity and the “crème brulee” like flavours sit well with nectarine fruit characters with the fine seam of delicate acidity contributing its long flavoursome finish.
AustraliaLived up to its name. Great creamy mouth feel with good hints of oak and vanilla. Similar to a Californian Chardonnay. Will definitely be buying more.
