Sasso is an assemblage of the three finest Pinot blocks and have been produced more regularly thanks to father and son, Steve and Marco, upping the ante in the vineyard. Following a deeper understanding of the soils, Sasso brings their primed single-block vineyards harmoniously together and is a true expression of its diverse terroir. It captures the essence of the three blocks in one elegantly bound package.

Lubiana's flagship pinot noir delivers the goods. Great aromatic depth revealing plush wild strawberry, dark cherry and red plum fruits dredged in exotic spice with hints of roasting game, mountain herbs, sous bois, Chinese barbecue and earth. Tight, grainy tannins provide the frame and a seam of minerally acidity the propulsion as the wine flows across the palate, finishing very long and true.
