"A mixture of whole bunches, whole berries and crushed fruit; matured in used oak for 12 months. Dense, deep purple-crimson hue. A full-bodied wine with all manner of dark, if not black, things. Black peppercorns, black licorice, dark chocolate, plum, cherry allsorts and leather old and new ... yet it doesn't taste full bodied, just complex and shapeshifting." James Halliday. Halliday Wine Companion.
"Rich, dark cherry, floral and ferrous, a mint and liquorice thing too. It’s fleshy, but more or less medium-bodied, meaty and ripe, all the silty Turkish coffee tannin, freshness too, blueberries and allspice, with thick tannin and a perfumed finish of excellent length. Excellent." Gary Walsh. The Wine Front.
High rating from James Halliday Wines , which augurs well. Could only get 1 bottle. Seems well priced. Not yet opened as only got a week ago
