Col d’ Orcia has been established as a producer of Brunello di Montalcino for over 300 years. It was instrumental in the establishment of the Montalcino DOCG and the borders of their vineyards literally form the southern boundary or the area.

Over the years, they've collected more than 50,000 bottles of old vintages of Brunello di Montalcino and only recently are they now releasing the to the public. Yes, the wines we have today came from their own cellars.
