"94 Points. Stunning value here. A blend of 55% Shiraz and 41% Grenache, with a further 4% Mataro, the wine spent nine months in French oak. A wine that just provides an explosion of flavour. AAA refers back to the wool industry, where this ranking was the top grade. The colour is reminiscent of a dark, bruised plum whilst the nose gives us notes of black fruits, chocolate, bay leaves, dry herbs and cassis. A supple texture, this is a wine that just dances across the palate. Utterly delicious and such cracking value there is very good length here, with silky tannins. Enjoy this over the next six to eight years. $25. Drink: 2024 - 2032"- Ken Gargett, winepilot.com

"There is a TV show called The Bold and the Beautiful that has been around for decades. This organic and biodynamic wine from McLaren Vale is a rather more recent arrival, but it certainly shares those attributes as a vibrant - and affordable - red blend that is food friendly and very swigable. A blend of 55% shiraz, 41% grenache and 4% mataro, it has spent nine months in French oak, which has added some spicy intensity. This is a great choice for pairing with anything from a backyard barbecue to a shepherd's pie for family dinner. No fuss. No pretence, just darn good drinking. $25"- Winsor Dobbin, winsorschoice.blogspot.com

"A blend of 51/41/8% shiraz/grenache/mataro. There’s admirable intensity of flavour and natural-feeling balance here, no doubt from well-tended vines carrying apt crop loads. Wild raspberry and tart blackberry, cherry and red plum, earth and gentle notes of white pepper and warm spices. Generosity and fruitful verve work in lockstep with savoury reserve, making it both a wine for the table and a standalone option. Needless to say, this is stellar value."
