Tapanappa was founded by the legendary Brian Croser in 2002. Through Tapanappa, Brian is continuing a career-long mission of matching the climate, soil and geology of distinguished sites to the right varieties, and then fastidiously developing and managing the vineyards to optimise quality. Tapanappa is dedicated to producing unique “wines of terroir” from its three distinguished sites in South Australia out of its winery that is located in the heart of the Piccadilly Valley. 

"Seaspray, seaweed scents, a dusting of clove, cassis, some eucalyptus too. Evocative perfume. Dark fruit flavours, more of the salty, seaweed thing to taste, some saltbush greenery too, chewy, clove-y oak laid on with late coming tannins building to a nice chew. Good concentration, flow, suppleness, though a bit dry and tangy on the finish.
