"It’s a polished, elegant style yet it’s powerful enough. Very good. Indeed.” Campbell Mattinson

"The middle-palate flavour is rich and charming, and quite complex. A stylish wine."  Huon Hooke

“Yarraloch chardonnay routinely delivers cut-through quality.  This release nails quality to the mast. It’s all oatmeal and pear, apple and spicy oak. Distinctly mealy. Distinctly long. A whisper of funk. It’s a polished, elegant style yet it’s powerful enough. Very good. Indeed.  94 Points.  Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front.

P58 (82%) and Mendoza clones. The Yarra Valley and the skill of contract maker David Bicknell have (unsurprisingly) produced a chardonnay of very high quality (I wonder why only one gold at the Melbourne Wine Show '14, and a silver at the National Wine Show) with its gloriously racy and long palate that sets all the taste buds jumping with its matrix of citrus and stone fruits, oak a mere conveyance. Rating: 96.  James Halliday

"Complex and heavily worked, but with the freshness and penetration of fruit to handle it. Wild, rather funky aromas of preach, melon and grapefruit backed by waxy nuances of lanolin and meaty yeast-derived notes precede a round, smoky and savoury palate that unfolds layers of fruit underpinned by a fine dustiness. It finishes long and persistent, with a tangy grapefruit-like acidity. ” 93 Points.  Jeremy Oliver.
