"It’s a nice word ‘Schist’. This wine is Schist, but it’s not schist. Spicy greenery of whole bunch, truffle, blackberry, dried herb and flowers, a wee bit of camphor. Medium to full-bodied, fine grainy tannin, a whole lot of spice, saline and savoury stuff in among fruit of almost Ribena-like intensity. Lovely grip and chalkiness through the finish, and more of that intense blackcurrant trailing along. It’s very Eden Valley, but with Torzi fingerprints all over it.
