The wine is Salomon Estate Wildflower Syrah V 2019.  You may not have heard of Salomon, but they have a well–earned reputation as one of Austria’s top wine producers and this wine they do from South Australia is so mething else.

The wine is inspired by Côte Rôtie wines in France’s Northern Rhone, yes, it's a blend of Shiraz Viognier, just like Clonakilla's famous wine, but this is about 20% of the price.
