Each gift pack contains the following 3 bottles of superb Champagne:
Champagne Devaux Grande Reserve Brut NV
Devaux Grande Reserve is a Pinot Noir dominant Brut Champagne that has been aged for 3 years. It displays a gold yellow colour, floral perfumes with hints of stone fruit such as peach and apricot on the nose. Its refined, intense and complex palate finishes with a touch of yellow plum.
"Dominated by Pinot Noir, this ripe and rich Champagne is poised between freshness and a more mature depth. Crisp apples and citrus contrast with an underlying toast and texture." Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast
Champagne Forget-Brimont Premier Cru Brut NV
The Champagne House of Forget-Brimont is based in Ludes, a small village with Premier Cru classification in the heart of Montagne de Reims, one of the most prestigious terroirs in the Champagne region. Led by 6th generation family member, Michel Forget, the Maison works 20 hectares with Grand Cru or Premier Cru classification, mainly planted to Pinot Noir.
This wine is a blend of 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier and 20% Chardonnay. The selection is made from our 120 parcels that are part of the 19 hectares of the domain and between 40 and 50 of reserve wines composed of almost 10 vintages are used to ensure roundness complexity and consistency.
"This Brut Premier Cru is sourced from across the house’s Premier Cru sites and is classical in its nose of spring flowers, green apples, ripe lemon juice and uncooked pastry dough. On the palate, ripe and lively acidity with peaches, apples, lemons, rich and creamy on the finish with a nutty and delicate finish. The persistence on the finish is impressive from this delicate wine which has been incredibly well made." 94pts, Curly Haslam-Coates, WineFront
Champagne Jacquart Mosaique Brut NV
The ‘House of Jacquart’ is a Chardonnay growers’ cooperative and their wines are closely linked to the ‘terroir’ of the Champagne region. There is integrity at every step of the way the Mosaique Brut is grown and made, as well as the position it occupies within the Champagne industry.
"A very good bottle of this wine, one of the best I can recall tasting to date, fresh and lively but with lovely bready/toasty lees-aged complexity, the palate beautifully balanced and drier than I remember this wine to be. Good depth, harmony, character." 93pts, Huon Hooke, The Real Review
