The vineyard site, situated between the foothills of the Great Dividing Range and Bass Strait, was selected when soil mapping of the region identified tracts of the much celebrated\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003eTerra Rosa\u003c\/em\u003e over Limestone soil structure.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 29Ha vineyard was planted between 1995-1997 by the Lightfoot family on their farm ‘Myrtle Point’.
