"Perhaps the best vintage of this wine I've yet tasted, the 2017 Art Series Shiraz reveals the progress Leeuwin Estate has made with this grape" JOE CZERWINSKI - WINE ADVOCATE
"Pretty much everything in the Leeuwin Estate range sits in the shadow of the Art Series Chardonnay. But this shiraz is pretty good. It’s a creamy expression of Margaret River shiraz. It feels soft and smooth, aided by vanilla-accented oak. It tastes of cherry plum, bay leaf and clove, emphasis on t he plum, with cedarwood and spice as afterthoughts. If you’re really oak-averse than this wine isn’t for you but for everyone else there’s a lot of pleasure to be had here." 93 POINTS. CAMPBELL MATTINSON - THE WINE FRONT
"Perhaps the best vintage of this wine I've yet tasted, the 2017 Art Series Shiraz reveals the progress Leeuwin Estate has made with this grape, which is often neglected in Margaret River. It's strongly peppery—a reflection of the cool vintage—but that element is balanced by succulent blueberry and intriguing licorice notes. Full-bodied and supple on the mid-palate, it finishes with a touch of tannic backbone and bright, mouthwatering acids." 92 POINTS. JOE CZERWINSKI - WINE ADVOCATE
