I bought this wine as a gift for someone who loves old-fashioned buttery chardonnays. He was not disappointed, nor were his guests with whom he shared it.
The description is so accurate! This is definitely an Anzac biscuit in a glass. I love a big buttery chardonnay and this is one of the best going around. Shared it with friends who have similar palette to mine and they also loved it. I keep buying more of this wine because I cant find anything even close to it for value and taste.
As was previously stated, this is what a good Chardonnay used to taste like and it's a very reasonable price. Normally, to get this style Chardonnay you have to pay $35 plus and it's Australian as well. No grapefruit or acid here. Definitely worth a try.
As the saying goes ,if you wait long enough it will come back into fashion! Nothing **** or sharp about this wine , its classic old fashioned rich ,buttery and fully oaked chardonnay which reminds me of better days past.
