Kooyong Meres Pinot Noir 2016

The most refined pinot, perhaps. Ferrous, the Gevrey; this, the Chambolle, for lack of a better comparison. Sappy, crunchy and finessed across a red fruited weave of a mineral thread, this lovely wine offers a long caress across the palate. Nothing out of place.'  96 Points - Ned Goodwin MW

'Single vineyard pinot noir. Mornington Peninsula. Well known, well loved. Price has risen by $1 on last year, just by the by. Marginal gains. A taut release. A tense wine. Riddled with spice, cut with chicory, strung on a high wire of acidity. As smoky and savoury as it is structural and complex. There’s fruit here, dry, appropriate, impressive, but as a conduit to the structure, the process, the discipline. It’s good. It’s very good.'  94 Points - Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front
