Winner of 5 Golds plus 97 Points at Decanter World Wine Awards 2020
Please let me introduce you to Gardian Grand Reserve Alma Cersius Rosé 2019.
It comes with gold medals (4 of them at French wines shows no less) and it received 97 points and a Platinum Award at Decanter World Wine Awards 2020. It missed out by a whisker on winning the Rose of Show - I should point out there were 881 Rose entries in this show, most of which were higher priced. Oh, and our price. It's Australia's best at only $16.95. No wonder we think it's the Best Value Rose ever.
Ask yourself, how often do you see French Rose laden with medals AND UNDER $20? This is my first time. Getting back to that big rating at Decenter World Wine Awards, this is how they described the wine:
''Oodles of spectacular red summer fruits entangled with ripe melons, rose petals and hints of exotic spice; beautifully rich and smooth with a creamy texture and hints of white pepper on the long, polished finish.'' 97 Points & Platinum Award at Decanter World Wine Awards 2020
While Provence tends to get all the attention when it comes to French pinks, Languedoc Rose, where is from can provide the same kind of light, refreshing thirst quenching drink reminiscent of the wines of Provence, but without the price and this from Gardian hammers that point home.
Gold Medal & 97/100 Points - Decanter Magazine 2020
Gold Medal -Concours International de Lyon 2020
Gold Medal - Concours des vins Féminalise 2020
Gold Medal - Concours des grands vins du Languedoc Roussillon 2020
Gold Medal - 70 Millions de Dégustateurs 2020
It's dangerously easy-drinking, has seductive aromas of red fruits, strawberry and raspberry. On the palate, they are complemented by gorgeous dry floral notes. Generous yet light, this is rose you can enjoy any day of the week, especially at $16.95.
