The 2024 Chardonnay comes from estate vines planted on volcanic basalt soils and was whole-bunch pressed, naturally fermented and matured for 12 months in French oak, with 30% new oak. The result is finely structured and precise, with white flowers, lemon sorbet, green apple and white peach layered with subtle cedar, spice and lees-derived complexity.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThere’s a creamy richness through the palate from partial malolactic fermentation, balanced by a tight line of acidity and chalky, mineral length.
