"Crawford River – considered by many to be Australia’s best riesling producer – make 800 dozen of this its signature riesling."  Campbell Mattinson

"A wine that stops you in your tracks for it has intensity of flavour yet feels effortless. The silk thread of acidity down the middle keeping the fine palate in place right through to a finish that is luxuriously long.  96 Points."  Jane Faulkner, James Halliday Wine Companion 2018.

Crawford River – considered by many to be Australia’s best riesling producer – make 800 dozen of this its signature riesling.  It’s rich and intense. It gets straight down to business, commanding respect from the outset. Orange rind, lime leaf, grapefruit and lemon juice flavours pour through the palate; it’s distinctive, it’s textural, it’s lengthy. The normal advice with Crawford River Riesling, especially given its impressive cellaring track record, is to tuck it away and forget about it for a decade – but this release seems particularly suited to early/young consumption.  Rated : 94 Points Alcohol : 13.5%.  Campbell Mattinson, The Winefront.

Beautiful wine, intense, precise, incredible persistence and length, yet that slightly juicy nature to acidity that says ‘ok to drink now’. Setting the benchmark once more. 95 points.  Mike Bennie
