Sour cherry, a little grilled meat, Mediterranean herb perfume, raw almond. Light to medium-bodied, amaro and dried herb bitterness, bright acidity, red fruits, fine chalky tannin, and a frisky finish of good length. A lovely and lively thing to drink. Yes. 92 points” Gary Walsh, The Winefront

"Bright, medium red with a purple tinge; the aromas are shy and reserved, pot-pourri and raspberry hints, the palate medium-full bodied and cast in a leaner style, with plenty of firm granular tannins and mild, savoury, somewhat shy fruit flavour. A classy red wine in a very Italianate red-wine style. 92 points" Huon Hooke, The Real Review

The Lloyd family founded Coriole in 1967, and are considered pioneers in the McLaren Vale region, and visionaries in the planting of Italian and French varieties.
