Castelli Estate 'The Sum' Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

'The Sum' range is starting to border on 'extreme' value. Castelli is well and truly established at the top of the Great Southern producers and the core range, in itself, is well priced. The Sum takes value to a new level.

"It's gonna be hard to have an argument with someone about the value of this range! Far out at $18 super hard to beat. I assume the 'The Sum' range, at least in party, takes the surplus requirements to Castelli's core (& very good) wines. This is very much in the modern / fruit forward camp but well executed. The fruits tend to a crowd pleasing mould but don't stray into stupid. Some grainy tannin takes the edge of the primary fruit and drives good length. Mid-weeker extraordinaire!" Stewart @ Cloudwine
